rotter software package provides JACK client for transmission recording and audio logging, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rotter
rotter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rotter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rotter *
You will get with rotter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
